Chevallum Industrial Park is shaping up to welcome a stellar lineup of organisations preparing to take their place on South East Queensland’s thriving Sunshine Coast.

“We needed a larger premises and wanted to create an environment where people would be proud to come to work. Where people would be proud to tell their families and friends, ‘that’s where I work’. 

“We purchased two lots – 3,800m² and 3,500m² – meaning we will occupy the second biggest site at the industrial park after Toll Group.

“Having easy access to the Bruce Highway, and being located a short distance from our preferred suppliers at nearby Kunda Park and Nambour was key for us. Chevallum’s central location on the Sunshine Coast provides us with that.

“We’re hopeful the latter part of 2020 will see us up and running at the new location.”

GeoDrill Australia is an exploration, geotechnical and water bore drilling company.

Serving clients including BHP Billiton, Anglo American and Middlemount Coal, GeoDrill Australia have also pioneered and developed a cloud-based software management system which offers the customer real-time access to onsite drilling data.

They will join other notable organisations at Chevallum Industrial Park, including Alspec Aluminium and Toll Group.

With transport and logistics problems solved, organisations choosing to call Chevallum Industrial Park home will further reap the benefits of an $812.95 million upgrade of the Bruce Highway, scheduled for completion in late 2020.

Construction is now underway across two significant work zones, involving the Bruce Highway, Sunshine Motorway, Caloundra Road and Steve Irwin Way to deliver greater efficiency, improved safety, reduced traffic congestion and capacity to cater for future strategic transport requirements.

Managing Director of Colliers Sunshine Coast, Nick Dowling confirms that despite a universally tumultuous start to 2020, interest in Chevallum Industrial Park has remained robust.

With the majority of lots being sold to owner occupiers, Mr Dowling said, “Enquiry has remained strong since January from both owner occupiers and developers looking to take advantage of the location adjoining the Bruce Highway.
